A Bit About Dédo's Deli

Dédo’s Deli is built from a family legacy rooted in hard work, hospitality, and a love for food made the right way. In 1978, Dédo Ljupco came to America from Macedonia with a suitcase, a dream, and the determination to build a new life. His first opportunity began in a small bakery, where he worked for his father-in-law and spent nine years learning the dedication it takes to run a business of his own.

That dream became reality in 1987 when Dédo Ljupco and Baba Iskra opened Gibbons Bakery in downtown Mt. Clemens. Years later, in 1996, they began a new chapter by purchasing Cityscape Deli in Bloomfield Hills — a small spot that would become their forever home for nearly 30 years. Today, Jackie and Bill Turner are proud to carry that story forward with Dédo’s Deli in Auburn Hills.

Inspired by the same warmth, dedication, and community spirit that shaped the family’s journey, the deli continues to serve handcrafted food made with care, consistency, and pride. From fresh sandwiches and homemade soups to platters and catering orders, every part of Dédo’s Deli reflects where it came from: honest food, family tradition, and a commitment to making every customer feel welcome.
